Black Hill Pony Club is currently looking for new premises following the Government's decision to sell off its former home at Woodford for development. This is despite a 3000 plus petition signed by people against the sale of the land and MP John Gardener taking the case to Parliament. (Click here to download a transcript of the motion.) Whilst all livestock has been removed from the land, the Club has been given an extension until 30th June 2011 to remove all equipment. History of Black Hill Pony Club We are now a Club with over 200 members and associates. With one of the bigger turnouts for any club in the Metropolitan Zone at local competitions, we are a competitive club, competing in novelties, eventing, dressage and showjumping at State Level as well as local competitions and some hack events. Some of our members have even gone on to represent Australia at an international level. However, as a family-orientated club, our main focus at competitions is to maintain a high level of team spirit among competitors and good sportsmanship is a must!
