Located in the foothills just east of the city of Adelaide, Black Hill Pony Club provides riding and agistment facilities for its members.

Starting from humble beginnings over 25 years ago, we have grown to be a club of about 40 members, with 30 horses and ponies agisted on the property full time. We are also a competitive club, with one of the bigger turnouts for any club in the metropolitan zone at local competitions. We compete in novelties, eventing, dressage, and showjumping at state level as well as local competitions, and some hack events. As a family-orientated club, our main focus at competitions is to maintain a high level of team spirit among competitors and good sportsmanship is a must!

Our shortcourse cross-country course provides excellent views over Adelaide. Whilst the horses are able to enjoy whilst grazing during the week, it is a feature at our annual One Day Event – usually held in early March. We have a show-jumping area and a sand dressage arena, and are looking to upgrade our facilities to keep our grounds to a high standard.

Due to our location, agistment is highly sought after, and there is a waiting list. If you are looking to agist on our grounds, please call our agistment officer for further details. If you would like to become a non-agisting member, our secretary will be happy to help you.
